Judy Crow is the principal Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Autism Spectrum Disorders) with 16 years of experience in the NHS. She has worked with multi-disciplinary diagnostic teams and teachers in both special and mainstream schools, and is happy to participate in a multi-disciplinary assessment of children with suspected ASD. Depending on the age of the child concerned she uses a mixture of observation in at least two settings, and standardised language assessments, e.g. BPVS, TROG, CELF pre-school and school age, and Derbyshire language scheme etc. Having worked closely with families of children with an ASD, she is able to support families and children both at home and in mainstream schools. Can provide independent expert reports and attend tribunals/education appeal committees. In addition, she is able to provide training programmes for early year's practitioners and school staff.
