Within the context of a generic special school we have specialised classes - 4 staff:6 pupils in all key stages offering Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links (SPELL) technique teaching to pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) statements. We also have a provision in our nursery for ASD children and in our VIth form. Currently about 42 pupils have this diagnosis. This school was awarded seven grade ones in its last Estyn inspection. The school runs two football teams.
