26+ (online social groups for adults in Scotland aged 26 and over)
This online social programme is for autistic adults, over the age of 26, living in Scotland.
You can choose from various weekly online groups, including social sessions for people who were diagnosed in adulthood. We offer groups such for general catch-ups and information sharing and also special interest groups.
There are daytime and evening groups. You can join as many as you like, you don't need to join them all.
It is fun and free to join, it allows autistic adults to meet, chat with peers and helps attendees to reduce their social isolation and build their social, communication and life skills.
All groups are facilitated by staff and volunteers who encourage our members to share their interests; we love learning new things!
Joining an online group can help with
- confidence building
- turn taking
- socialising with new people
- developing new interests
- keeping up to date with National Autistic Society resources and information
- learning about other organisations.
