Scotland Outreach Service (Central)

Main information

Type of service: Outreach

Our flexible outreach service of 25 hours or more per week helps autistic adults to take part in activities outside their home, build their confidence and become more independent in all aspects of life. For example, we can help people to take part in their favourite sport or attend a college course.

The overall aim of our service is to increase people's life skills and confidence, and make sure that they can take part in the everyday life of their community. The support we offer is based on individual people's needs and wishes - we develop person-centred plans and review them regularly. The service currently operates in Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, Stirling and Renfrewshire, though we can potentially take referrals from all areas of Scotland.
