Dr Sarah Cassidy is Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham, and created the Mental Health in Autism research group to explore the difficulties autistic adults face in relation to mental health problems, self-injury, and thoughts about ending life.
Sarah kindly agreed to be interviewed when she attended the NAS Autism and Mental Health Conference in 2015.
In this interview Sarah discusses risk factors, prevention and support for autistic people who may experience suicidality.
