Ambitious about Autism

Main information

Type of service: Training providers, Service providers, Training providers

Ambitious about Autism is a national charity for children and young people with autism. It provides services, raises awareness and understanding, and influences policy. It exists to enable children with autism to learn, thrive and achieve. It runs the TreeHouse school in North London, and offers a range of training. This takes the form of half or full day practical workshops and presentations. Such training opportunities aim to share good autism practice, practical advice and techniques for those supporting children and young people with autism. These can be arranged across the UK according to need. Training can also be tailored to meet the specific needs of a group, such as for whole staff training and staff meetings. Please contact Ambitious about Autism for more information on the scheduled training programme, bespoke training, or to discuss their consultancy services. They also run Talk about Autism, an online community for parents and carers of children with autism and others to talk about how autism impacts on their lives.
