Aspen House is a detached property in Rushden where support is provided to adults with learning disability, an autism spectrum condition (ASC) and/or challenging behaviour. The property is split into two self-contained units: Aspen House, which is a five-bedroom detached property for adults with mild learning disabilities, and Aspen Lodge, which is a purpose-built five-bedroom annex for adults with more acute learning disabilities. The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission. The staff team are accustomed to delivering individualised support using specialist tools such as Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and enabling people to live healthy lifestyles with positive behaviour support. Aspen House is managed by Community Care Solutions parts of the Care Solutions Group and owned by Lifeways a national provider of supported living services. Aspen House holds The National Autistic Society (NAS) accreditation for Quality Autism provision.
