An online autism awareness course developed by the Autism Resource Centre (ARC). The ARC is run by Glasgow City Council and provides autism awareness training opportunities for Glasgow City Council staff, other agencies, parents, carers and stakeholders. This online course is an innovative learning experience which provides autism awareness as seen through the eyes of a young person with Asperger syndrome called Aspen. Asperger syndrome is a condition linked to autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Team at the ARC want to encourage learners to make their acquaintance with Aspen. This course gives the information and knowledge to help you understand the strengths, differences and difficulties of those on the autism spectrum.
