Brighton and Hove Amaze (formerly Brighton & Hove Parent Partnership Service). Amaze is an independent charity working in Brighton and Hove (see separate entry). It has been commissioned by the Brighton & Hove local authority to run the parent partnership service. Service activities include a telephone helpline; website, newsletter, factsheets and handbooks; courses and workshops; one to one education casework including Independent Parental Supporters. They also offer help with disability benefits and transition to adult services. They run The Compass database of disabled children and Compass Card offering leisure opportunities. They host the parent carers council.
