The Community Support Service exists to provide flexible and individualised packages of care or support to children and adults who experience the full range of autistic spectrum disorders including those with Asperger syndrome. The range of services provided are: supported accommodation; supported education/training; supported leisure; social/living skills development opportunities (including drop in rooms); social support group; drop in group; discussion group; sports and health group and children's activity days. Referrals to the service can be made through Social Services and Health Care professionals or self-referral. .
The Community Support Service team have considerable experience in supporting people with a wide range of complex needs including:autism; behavioural issues; mental health conditions; learning disabilities; physical disabilities; sensory and visual impairment;speech and language difficulties and other health conditions. .
