Elliot Avenue is a modern detached house in a private and quiet residential area of South Bretton, Peterborough. Elliot Avenue is registered with the Care Quality Commission to accommodate up to six younger adults with learning disabilities but we plan to cap occupancy at 5 places. The oldest person at present at Elliot Avenue is 29 years of age. The home uses structured approaches to supporting people with autism including TEACHH principles, SPELL plans, Social Stories, PECS, Widgit and the company's own system of communication and sensory passports which the NAS evaluation team found "novel, highly practical and important in shaping the support". Elliot Avenue is one of 4 Community Care Solutions homes registered with NAS as "Quality Autism Provision" and owned by Lifeways, the biggest national provider of supported living services.
