Options The Thicket is an NAS accredited Adult Residential Service that supports people aged 18+ with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), learning disabilities and complex needs to develop life skills and reach their individual potential for independence. Committed to person centred planning, every person has an active role in developing their individualised programmes of care and personal development which address communication, physical, sensory, social and behavioural needs, ensuring that their needs are met 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and that their individual choices are respected. Situated in a rural area of Otley, Leeds, Options The Thicket is set amongst 6 acres of countryside and provides specialist facilities that are purpose-built for adults with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs. People have full and varied lifestyles and are encouraged to develop hobbies and pursue activities of their choosing. Daily care plans are written in formats that are relevant to each person's preferred method of communication, which helps them to understand what is happening during the day. .
