Type of service: Outreach - education

TEENS+ is a 4 year transitional education programme for young people aged 17-24 years with complex additional support needs and severe communication problems, who have left school. The programme comprises an extension of the students’ previous education, with emphasis on the transition to a more independent life in the community. The programme is based at the Inch Community Centre, Edinburgh providing an inclusive community environment. It comprises of 4 different elements: learning; communication; life skills; and sports.

Age: From age 17 to 24

Aimed at: Adolescent , Adult

Covers: City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, West Lothian
