A social group for people aged 18 years and above, with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The groups are facilitated by a Social Programmes Manager who is responsible for a number of groups in their area. Social Groups are supported by volunteers who are recruited, ACCESS NI checked and trained by the NAS. Volunteers come from all walks of life. The Belfast group has 3 clubs which meet monthly: a lunch club; social book club; and a cinema/bowling club.
