Whitwood Care
Main information
Type of service: Residential services
Three specialist residential services for individuals in Castleford (West Yorkshire) with learning disabilities who have significant challenging behaviour: Whitwood House, Whitwood Hall and Whitwood Grange. Each service is divided into separate units offering a maximum of 6 places in each. In addition we provide smaller units enabling a step-down facility from secure services to a more independent style of living. These smaller specialist residential services - The Coach House, The Lodge and The Fold - are separate buildings but within the registration of the main home. Each service ensures highly personalised care and support and there is a choice of accommodation models, including individual apartments and an ASC specific service, which are all en-suite and inclusive within the local community.
