Professor Bryony Beresford is Co-Director of the Social Policy Research Unit at the University of York. Bryony kindly agreed to an interview with us when she attended the National Autistic Society Professional Conference in 2019.
In this interview Bryony discusses her latest research, a major national study of specialist autism teams in England supporting autistic adults without learning disabilities. The research has mapped current practice and evaluated the impacts of these services on autistic people’ lives. Bryony explores some of the early results of the research and its implications for post-diagnostic support.
