Dr Catriona Stewart is an Autism Advisor at Scottish Autism and delivers training and consultation services. Catriona co-founded the Scottish Women’s Autism Network (SWAN) following her PhD research into anxiety in autistic girls.
Catriona kindly agreed to be interviewed for us when she attended the National Autistic Society Professional Conference in 2019.
In this interview Catriona discusses Under our Wing, a peer mentoring project for autistic women and girls which is being delivered in partnership with SWAN. Catriona also explores how a lack of support can impact on autistic girls and women.
